Got untill tomorrow morning to decide which one I go for.

I have the choice of:

Metzeller Z8
Avon Storm 2
Dunlop Roadsmarts
Michelin Pilot Road 2
Bridgestone BT-023
Pirelli Angel ST

I've had the PR2s & thought they were excellent so i'm tempted to try something else. Really not keen on Bridgestone in the past, however i'm told the 021 was pulled for being ste & replaced with the 023.

I've seen reviews on them but discounted (didn't bother reading) it due to past dealings with the 021.

Anyone got any experience on the above tyres?

Still have the 7R mate.

What sort of mileage is everyone getting from their prefered choice? Am I right in thinking the Pirelli Angel is not a dual compound?

confused
Struggling?

Maybe there's a better product in that list that i'm not aware of.
If it helps, the 'so' should have been a 'but'.

stuff about tyres
Never mind all that.

Have you binned those cheapy eBay levers and got a decent feel to your brakes yet or are you still thinking about radial this and radial that (tyres - I grant you radials might be best!).
Not yet, I'm waiting for them to turn up- been on an ebay pampering spree. Bought replacement EBC HH pads still looking for a seal kit- I've found a MC refurb kit, but wondering whether to just ditch it for the radial.

If you like the PR2s why not stick with them? I've found that Michelins seem to work well for me.
I was using BT-021s on the Bandit and thought they were good until I tried the PR2s.

Thinking the same maybe relevent now.

Dealer seems pretty keen on getting me onto the Roadsmarts. Bigger profit margin? hehe

I've just really got an itch for a twin of somesorts, so the 7r has been put to the back of my mind atm..
Mate, it's not a problem, I'm not fussed either way.
If I got rid then I'd only have the ballache of finding a replacement.

It's only because I'm a tart that I want to try something differenthehe

Which RSV do you have?
Have you ridden a firestorm?
If so how do they compare?
I don't have one matehehe
I've ridden my fil's Falco- the 7 has more top end and hold the road better.
The Falco has a shed load of mid range grunt but get's breathless at the top end just when it's getting exciting.

Can you stretch to an SP-1?
