Home safe and sound and a fabulous 5 days away. Thanks to everyone who made it so good.

Nice drive back in fabulous weather with a short stop in Monschau for Pizza smile

Glad Brett made it back after the suspension failure even though we had a long delay at the tunnel after making it there on time.

Will upload some photos tomorrow, but don't have that many...

Glad to hear all went well! Great pics! That Orange SRT looks nice! Liking that!

I can see this pic rearing it's head relatively often... hehe

Is it just me that is playing the Benny Hill Music in my head looking at that picture???

Well it could be yours Dave as on the last day he put a "for sale" sign on it but at 95,000 euro's its not a bargain.

At Current conversion rates that's about £83,845.84 ... Nope... Not a bargain!
Nice looking car though! (Still much prefer the GenI/GenII Shape anyway)

To those that left early, Max came to say how sorry he was about how we had been treated as he felt our guests ensured that we knew little of what the day would hold, no English questions in the rally and the fact that most of us finally found out if we won a trophy by getting the results out of the bin and giving us our own.

The pace car on the 'Ring' should not have been but it was briskly driven and some of the first timers found it a handy guide.

My best memory was coming into the F1 pits and being told I had not done enough laps then being told to wait for the green at the end of the pits, by which time the Pace Car was miles away.

I gave Max a big thank you from all of us, he explained that it was political for the German VCA as some members want to voye hime out after 10 years, if he stays then next year he will organise MENDIG again.

O and at the Von Tripp Museum, the womans face when Tom had more information on him than the Museum, thanks Tom, your information explained a lot for me and it was a brilliant guided tour.

It's a shame we were left a bit out of it this year but we were a good size group on our own and I still really enjoyed the weekend.

If Mendig goes ahead again will there be a db test again? It was lucky that most of us run last year.

Thanks to everyone for a great few days, I am sorry that the German guys were not so helpful to us this year, But Max was so apologetic on Monday morning, he had driven 100 miles to see us before we left at 8.00am, that to me made me feel very welcome and I am sorry for his problems over there, it wasn't so organsied as last year, but as the Viper group of the UK, I think we all got on very well and had a good time.
Am also very very glad tht everyone got home OK, - I still hate Brussells and Eupen was a bit of a bummer. If we go again, I will spend more time travelling the french bits. Thanks again for great company and lots of memories.clap

Why was Paul the only one to have to wear the daft hat, and where did those piccies come from.

Almost forgot to say thank to Paul/Barbara for leading us to and from the Von Trips Museum (Will post u what iou Paul :winksmile. Had a fantastic time there, what a wonderful collection of motor racing photos,cars,trophys,posters...never seen so much motor racing history crammed into just a few rooms.I could have spent a few days going through everything. BTW the man in the tea room who tried to explain some of the pictures we were looking at turns out to be the Von Trips offical Biographer/writer! Its was a shame his English was poor (our German non-existant) as he could have told us so much. I can back with some lovely photos of the day and also a couple of very..very..funny ones! There is this one particular photo thats burning my fingers! I think the picture of Mr Prezz should only be put on the forum if there is a demand for it?! ...hehe Hands up if you,d all like to see it? :

Thats 1 vote!hehe But I,m gonna play hardball with this photo, (Coz its so funny!) and unless I get a FULL hands up from the Viper Community on this site it stays in my Photo Vault (Unless Mr Prezz decides to by the copywrite to ithehe IMOP it makes the beer keg photo which is funny look tame)

Thats 2 Votes, but no way enough to swing it, I also feel that it could swing in favor of El Prezz if he so wishes.(This photo could be the final straw and have me kicked out of the Club for goodeek)

(It ain,t anything rude)
