Certainly not its mild steel and any competent welder can do this with their eyes shuts
ironically what someone should be doing if without a mask
from a welders point of view nice new steel and clean non rusty old steel is as good as it gets
A coded welder is a qualification for a skilled a welder, that shows there competent in welding materials such as mild steel to a certain standard. There are plenty of pigeon poo welders out there, but the weaknesses in there welds don't appear until a crack detection of the weld is carried out. ![rolleyes](/inc/images/rolleyes.gif)
