Only thing that i can think has not been renewed or refurbished is the wiper motor.
Anyway, going home Friday during heavy rain i turned them on,it was like watching my Grandads wipers in his old Hillman Imp they were that slow, then eventually stopped.
Thurns out motor siezzed, what is the best way forward,as apparently you cant buy replacements, and professinal is approx £200!!
Is there a kit you can DIY with, and what would be the process of works????

If the motor has seized, you can remove the 2 small (7mm heads IIRC) bolts from the cover. There is one plastic bush that the armature rotates in, in the cover. If you then carefully pull the casing back you can see the front bush. You should be able to rotate the motor by hand. I gave mine a good dose of WD40, cleaned it all out then reassembled with a little grease on the bushes. If yours is an early one on the nearside held by the clamp, remove that first so you can tip it up a bit to get good access. Mine also seized up in heavy rain. The water runs off the screen and on to the motor which is NOT sealed. The WD40 gets rid of that. On reassembly I used silicone sealant on both ends of the casing to try and prevent it happening again. My wipers work as good as new once again.

No...what they sell is a different armature and magnet housing, which fits onto the current gearbox/gear set/brush set/park switch, in fact everything else that IS the motor IS ignored and is an additional cost (also there is the issue of this actually fitting back onto the car!! in the same way as the old motor).
These days, ALL my motors get new magnets/magnet housings and armatures...along with EVERY other part either checked and or replaced, right through to the rack drive, for almost their nett price and mine includes return carriage! but heyho.

Just wanted to add that Adrian was really good when my wiper motor failed maybe five years ago - turned it round within a few days. These days, ALL my motors get new magnets/magnet housings and armatures...along with EVERY other part either checked and or replaced, right through to the rack drive, for almost their nett price and mine includes return carriage! but heyho.

Would copper grease be alright for the bushes or something finer?
A light smear of copper grease would be fine.
I was a bit put off when I saw the price of a new one so just gave it a go. They are still working well. Once back together lift the arms off the screen to start with just so you know everything is turning as it should. Best to have the engine running rather than ignition on to make sure you get a good voltage. Good luck.

Undo the gland nut where the drive cable exits just out of view undo both those 10mm nuts and move the unit towards you the wipers will move across the screen as you do this then remove that top plate to reveal & remove the drive cable then the motor is off once you unplug it
Get it! get it! get it!Cheers
