Wouldn't that be putting too much weight on a smaller area causing more chance of bending, flexing and chance of cracking ?
I thought it would be better to spread the weight as much as possible.
Just a note really but your 4x2 will flex that way round..it's structural the other way round and won't flex as much, if you need any timber or pallets drop me a text and I'll bring some tomorrow (I run a builders merchants)I thought it would be better to spread the weight as much as possible.
The 4x2's were fitted that way to just tie the pallets together rather than structural support but then again I'm an electrician, what do I know
I'll take any help and advice I can get
I have bought more wheels to span the joint in the pallets, do you think that should do the trick ?

Strapped up and ready for the lift, Mark was happy and ready for action.
Slowly lifted and checking for anything still connected.
Fuel hoses through into the boot and fuel pump wiring.
Then there was this one I couldn't disconnect.
Nearly there and we have the TVR 4x4.
Body free.
The worst bit.
And finaly rather than a hundred pictures here's the chassis in video form.

There was a couple of earths to the back of the block (39 in previous pics) and these.
Not sure where they broke from and not traced them into the dash yet to see where they go. If anyone knows the colours please share
Unfortunately it looks like they cracked the bell housing as well when it jammed.
