Its amazing how much money you can make out of snooting around faebook.
No, amazing how much money you can make if you dedicate your life to learning to be the best at one thing (in my case programming) - and then spend 10 years giving up almost everything else in the effort to build a company from that knowledge. Nice cars, Nick. A current range McLaren is what I would buy if my numbers came up and money was no object. It is impossible to improve on perfection.

as much as I love Nicks Chim for its excellent engineering I have to say that if I ever get close to it I will be removing that number plate and placing it on my bonfire
Good reminder I must get a TVR plate and then put a smaller size with nice orange outline on it ChilliWhizz said:

Something you know?
Its a sad time in the TVR world!
No. Just gone a bit quiet. Its a sad time in the TVR world!
So, guys, in all honesty 'if' I decide to sell how much d'ya think it's worth. Be brutal if you must [not too brutal] I was thinking practically at late 20's so wot ya reckon?
35k for all the work, except 32 through gritted teeth but that takes no notice of the market.
Marketed well and given time someone will understand and appreciate the value of the work you've undertaken and realise they couldn't do it for less!
Just got to find that nutter who loves power and beauty in equal measure Mac.
Errrr that'll be you then

The old adage, it is worth what someone will pay for it.
The trouble is, you may have to wait and find your time.
I know modified cars command less money generally but there are a lot more modified cars now and I believe that their prices will increase.
I'm not sure exactly but wasn't the yellow LS Griff which was fitted with everything absolutely brand-new and no doubt the best in the world was for sale for 35K?
I really did have a moment when I saw that advertised but you snooze and you lose!

I have an original 1971 Yamaha FG140 accoustic folk guitar here, cost me £45 new out of my student grant.
Comes complete with "Jesus lives" sticker, put on it by my God Squad room mate and best friend.
He's still just as religious now, but instead of long hair and levis, he's now the recently retired senior partner of a GP practice in Surrey.
How time marches on.
I have so much arthritis in my hands these days i can only dream of playing my guitar, but I couldn't bear to sell it. Too many memories of playing The Streets of London and Leonard Cohen at 2am in my student days to part with it.
Now, the alto sax - I can still manage to play that...badly, but the Baker Street riff can be heard from time to time, emanating from QBee Towers.
If it's just a car, sell it.
If it is more than that, keep it.
