Guys, be aware that it's Fairport Convention at Cropredy from Thursday to Sunday so there will be a lot of traffic on the A361/A423 North out of Banbury.
Otherwise I would've suggested coming to my village pub again. The black pudding sausage rolls are back on the bar snack menu....

Ta for the heads up, hopefully we should be alright with Hanwell what with it being a bit further West? We'll be coming up from the South West and across country so the plan is to avoid Banbury centre anyway. Are you coming along with the Griff again? smile

I'm easy on times, say 12pm?

^^^ Looking good!

12 works for me too. Looking set for slightly better weather than last time... I needn't have bothered getting the roof replaced laugh

Our trio from the Solihull area is not looking good.
Just spoke with Trevor and he's working till 12.30 so realistically wouldn't be able to leave till half one. Frank might be up for it (I need to speak with him) he has mentioned it to Trevor so he knows about it.
As for me, I've been waiting to see what the weather is doing. Pretty sure Frank will feel the same if it's raining then we won't bother.

If it's dry or just a shower I'm in.... Heavy rain nono Not because I'm a won't get it wet kind of man biggrin It just spoils the day! Will let you know either way what we're doing thumbup

Spot on, we'll have a quick weather check in the morning then and go from there- if all looks good we'll be at the Moon & Sixpence at 12.

Without wishing to tempt fate, weather forecast is looking promising at the mo thumbup

Looks fantastic, I'd better give mine a quick go over in the morning at this rate!

I'm very envious of you garage-owning folk!

Cheers all - I'll probably end up driving through a big muddy puddle on the way and coming across a large flock of seagulls, now!

Fingers crossed for the weather - forecast is still looking good!

What's the verdict then chaps? Weather generally looking grey & overcast for the rest of the afternoon.

Do we chance it or see if next weekend looks more promising? Also our resident Mustang-driving photographer is on the Isle of Wight this weekend so he is unavailable today, but is around any of the next few weekends.

As a few of the others can't make today either (Alun, Frank, Jas's mates etc) I'd be inclined to leave it and try next weekend, but what does everyone else reckon?

Well if everyone is still up for it me and Frank will be coming down and Trevor will meet up with us at where ever our second rendezvous might be.
So see you at the Moon & sixpence at 12.

Really enjoyed it, great weather in the end!

The little convoy run was great fun, we'll have to go a bit further next time driving

Shame I can't do the Poole Quay meet. I'd forgotten but we're actually going down that way Friday evening anyway, but won't be there in time. Is there anything happening on the Saturday down there, or will people just be heading back afterwards?
