R745 NTT - Anyone know it?
Discussion
Well, we assessed the area everyone would be most interested in yesterday:
So we've had fibreglass before, now we've got what looks like gas pipe outriggers!

Main chassis rails are actually pretty good for a 97-98 car though, so that's good. Doesn't really matter as the whole point is to pull it apart and make it nice again anyway, but it's always interesting to see what bodges are out there on the market!

This is scary stuff! There was no chassis damage when the car was written off in 2002; and can't believe it would have been replaced due to corrossion at 5 years old. Certainly nothing was done to it during my ownership and it flew through 3 MOT's without issue.
If Kev didn't carry out any repairs then must have happened during last two years. Does make you wonder what we are all driving round in though!
Trip down to Fareham to get mine checked methinks!!!!
The Chimaera with fibreglass outriggers was the worst one I've seen. It's now one of the nicest at least, but that fact someone bodged it like they did left a bad taste in the mouth. If Kev didn't carry out any repairs then must have happened during last two years. I think with this car they probably did try to do a slightly-better-than bodge job, but failed.
