If you have a BTR you can change the crown wheel and pinion to a 308 , you may need to have around 270hp or it may not pick up so quick .I`m still waiting for discopatoes to make be a set of brackets so I can get rid of the GKN and fit the BTR 308.

So around town third is better than fourth, and at 50-60 fourth may get better results than fifth. Constant speed gives best fuel economy - ask anyone with cruise control and a dashboard readout. Mine goes up 10% or more if I use cruise in my daily driver.
