Supercharge or turbo my 450?
Discussion
Did you ever put a single turbo together on that cast Y piece Mike?
Home brew turbo easily do-able if you're handy with the spanners and like fettling, and perhaps most flexible/accepting of existing set up... kits all great for fit and drive if that's preferred but, obviously, you pay for the fact someone has had to do the development. Few RV8s run anything like the CRs claimed on here

Yes I did, a hybrid t3 but in reality it all got a bit heavy so probably wasn't the best way forward from a marketing perspective. Better to let each do their own thing if you know what I mean.Home brew turbo easily do-able if you're handy with the spanners and like fettling, and perhaps most flexible/accepting of existing set up... kits all great for fit and drive if that's preferred but, obviously, you pay for the fact someone has had to do the development. Planning big things for winter 2015 and want opinions options and advice.
Option 1 turbo from earn whalley at torquev8 £2900 inc vat fitted retaining 14cux
Option 2 supercharge kit from sc £3450 inc vat self fitting also retaining 14cux
Neither option uses a cooler which could be added later.
I have compression tested and all is ok and will do a leak down test to be sure.
I don't want to cause myself issues after the install and obviously want reliability over out and out power.
