Really looking forward to seeing this in action.
The chase for the top spot, should be 'interesting' .........but we are only there for a bit of fun and banter
Should be a great weekend with mates having a FEW beers and having a catch up, which is what it's all about.

Looking to be a great weekend.
I think I wont be using too much gas so maybe a high 11 at best.
Neal should run that just rolling off the line and winding all that power in.
Lets see if he just sits spinning the rears while I get away
Sorry Derek I forgot to mention I have fitted Racelogic Traction Control, no spinning for me anymore I think I wont be using too much gas so maybe a high 11 at best.

Remember this Derek......

Nice work as always Neal. Roll bar looks ace.
Gonna have a little bet on a race? How much you giving me head start?
No head start Derek you have raced up the strip about 1 billion times i've been up 10 times max Gonna have a little bet on a race? How much you giving me head start?
Right that's the front runners out the way. Competition at the top,, great craic
So who of the normal human being type n/a are coming along to set there own times and so records.
It costs nothing much to enter, a couple of gallon of fuel and you can have 1 or 10 goes if you like.
Forget the drag strip racing, it's a chance to accelerate your Tvr from a standing start ( you don't need burn outs ) to over 100 mph in a safe environment.
If you think about it a few goes is only like going out for a hoon, possibly less damaging on the car even!
The comradeship around you with all the other Tvr and car owners having a go is well worth it for that alone.
It's a RUN WHAT YOU BRUNG event so plenty of road cars and it's a very easy ran event,
For all the so called broken drive shafts, most of us are better off just steady off the line anyway so it's not all about dropping clutches violently.
It's a fast car, you'll be doing over 100 mph before you've done 1/4 mile,,, what's not to like.
Anyway, I'm turning up with a fully sleeved exhaust, full de cat,,,, straight through system in essence, Rainsport Tyre's, new Diff soft shocks and a desperate driver
I'm hoping for a couple of runs to make my claim then sitting back and getting pissed watching others race. It's a great weekend in a really relaxed yet exciting way.
If you only ever do this once in your Tvr you'll be glad you did and you can put your name on the Tvr leader board for time eternal

And just to add, look at those times and what cars posted them on the leaderboard and your in esteemed company. These are the fastest times full stop.
If I'm 50th or 86th it's only relevant to your cars state of tune and your ability on the Day/ weather etc.
If knowone else has set a time then if your 50th that's a damn fast time in my head

Really looking forward to this
Got the cage and seats and harnesses bolted in over the weekend.
Just some carpet gluing and a massive clean got dust everywhere!
One things to mention is the clutch servo I have fitted makes my heavy 950ft/lbs clutch an absolute joy! One of the best things I have fitted to the car (apart from Turbos!)
Looking forward to some racing & banter, (hopefully some Daz stories) :-)
