In my opinion, you will not be disappointed with either, they are all great cars without a doubt. I wouldn't care if I had either a Griff or a Chim, (Ido have a Chim 450 at the mo)

I've had both, currently have a Griff. If I was starting again from nothing, I would be happy with either if it was the right car.

Drive loads, then decide

TVR-critic said:Put a few thousand miles on your Tamora, before you tell me i do not know wtf i am talking about. Time will tell, and i will be the first to say i am wrong, but i cant see that happening, not with the reliabilty of the S6.

10000 miles and counting good enough for you? I've had the valves re-shimmed when they got a bit noisy, but that was a service item for 12000 anyway. My Chimaera blew it's exhaust manifold gasket after 1800miles, petrol tank leaked, fuel guage packed in, mirrors fell off/worked loose etc. etc.

As for speed and handling, my standard car blew away every non-modified V8 at Bruntingthorpe, through the twisties, and on the straights, where even standard Tuscans made way for me. You can modify, Nitron, re-brake, re-tyre, to get close to Tamora performance, but then that's not a standard car, is it?

Just because you have a bone to pick with TVR, doesn't mean I have to agree with you, nor does it necessarily validate your arguments.

Kartman has 15K to spend. Talking about how much better a 36K Tamora is doesnt really help; great car that the Tamora undoubtedly is.

Kartman should try both Chimaeras and Griffs. Which is best depends on how you use the car and personal preference.

I commute in mine and find the Chimaera a better day to day car. If I wanted a weekend plaything Id have a Griff 500.

You pays your money.......
