Reverse it on
Obviously but that would drive me nuts unless of course you have other means or only use it for storage purposes it was only an observation not a criticism ............wish I even had a garage.......

Didn't take it as criticism . I wish I could fit it centrally but I have 2 single doors into my double garage and it wasn't possible like everything it's the best compromise and hell of a lot easier than using jacks and axle stands, which always scared me when I used them.
Ah got ya, your right though thats a damn sight better than working off the floor any day Made a 2 tonne press out of a trolley jack, ratchet strap and some wood to press out the bolt that was stuck in my lower wishbone, then went to town with epoxy mastic.
Changed the engine mounts. Had all of the suspension off and the manifolds and it still took a couple of hours. Would've downed tools and gone to the pub if it had taken much longer.

I gave Peter a spare assembly I had in the van.
I also had 2 others but the other Peter assumed I only had the one and talked about no point in fitting a standard one for it to snap again anyway.
I did then thought I would fit standard for now and quit while the goings good!I also had 2 others but the other Peter assumed I only had the one and talked about no point in fitting a standard one for it to snap again anyway.
Found a pot not firing on my new to me 450.. tracked it to a duff injector ..12v power to it but not firing.
A temperature check on manifold revealed at least two other cylinders below temperature of others.
Decided to take it out, ,,bu@@Dr got to take all rail fuel rail off too .
ah,well get it all out and get flow checked on all of them. Think this car needs lots of tlc

Suspected I might have a small vacuum leak around the plenum so removed, cleaned and tried some Wellseal. Pity it looks like doggy diarrhoea and sticks to your fingers like it too....
Thought I might as well replace the 2 flat fuses (100 amp) that give so much trouble when they crack. Got some of the midi fuses as they seem to last longer.
During the engine rebuild Dom had replaced these fuses and all the main wiring so that's that then.

Drove to Southend last night to pick up a driveshaft to replace my snapped item, cheers Richard, (Discopotatoes).
Had a peak at his nearly completely assembled chassis with all the bits on, really neat and a good job! Also he's made a fantastic job of building his new garage with extension on top, do you ever sleep?
Drove back in the pishing rain round the M25 to get back at 10.30pm. Where are all the thousands of cars going at that time of night!
Lucky it was wineing Wednesday
Fitting driveshaft this afternoon so the car is ready for when an old friend comes over from Ireland on Friday. Really looking forward to blowing his socks off, (up to 70mph of course, its not the speed but the speed in getting there!) as I don't think he's driven over 50mph for decades!
