That smooth bore induction sounds a bit like a performance enhancement to me nick, but we can assume it was lack of availability of original parts that drove you to it?

Not to worry though, I can soon locate a nice new stretchy hoover hose for you.
You have come to the right place for just that sort of assistance smile

I wish all rodents were extinct - presently have mice in the Chimaera......seeds in the ventilation, chewed foam ditto, chewed gear lever gaiter, speedo has suddenly stopped working....

I am thinking of moving house to give my car a better chance of remaining unmolested by ruddy rodents

The forum did have a discussion on this subject some time back.

I recommended the Rentokil as it worked for me.

I also used their mouse traps, in tandem, to deal with a particularly clever little fellow that had somehow managed to jump the trap each time. I ended his Olympic dreams by placing two in a row; he did not clear the second hurdle angel

Thanks Bill, I will give that a try. Needs to be mouse free in a week, as it is booked in to my service guy to get the problem sorted, along with the annual service and mending the exhausts, and the chin spoiler and GKW else. He wisely insists the car is mouse free before he gets it - no, he isn't mouse squeamish, its just he doesn't want the little buggers running out of mine and straight into someone else's T350 or Sagaris, and yes, I have seen both in his workshop.

Good job I don't need to eat. Remortgage ahoy!!

O/T when we moved into our current house, we couldn't sleep as the scamperings of scores of the little buggers across the bedroom ceiling was a tad distracting!

Enter rat man and a bin of poison, works a treat!

LOL - I consider mine "unmodified" still and I've changed the ECU / got rid of the AFM, dizzy and coil, battery location, added a wideband lambda, fitted 278mm front discs and 887/888 calipers, ACT silicone hoses...

biggrin

In fairness, and assuming the previous applications by MuffDaddy, Chimaeraman, Naybr are all interested parties, then you would be the 5th, including Quietlybonkers and myself.

The starter relay 'hot start kit' is almost essential it seems; it's an age thing, as mine functioned perfectly for years without one.
Sadly, the CD players do seem to have been replaced in a number of cars, but I am sure they were only installed for people who didn't realise how impossible it would be hear them.
Sad, but true, the S02s and S03s later approved by TVR are simply not available.

It seems that makes 5 then.

Quality, not quantity smile
Oops, counting problems! smile
Unfortunately, even though I bought it when it was three years old, it came with a CD player!
Mine was fine at starting until about a year ago, as you say down to age. Also mine has never leaked.
