I saw a LS Boxster at Emerald last year, apparently it's far cheaper than having to put a new Porsche engine into it.
So if you break it Peter you have options. wink
I think we need a track day with Anthony to see how the new toy compares.

Absolutely. Graham would quite like to do Snetterton because it suits his car wink

I will have a look at their diary.

Coincidentally I have already bought a spare set of wheels shod with triple 8s for the Porsche!

Bet you didn't see that one coming Graham!

I knew you were keen for Brands, which is one long corner so that explains it!

Just out of interest I wonder what time you’d do round somewhere like Curborough in the Silver cars, there a bit heavy for that I’d think but superior grip etc hmmm interesting.

Shame. I can't do Cadwell either as hopefully if all is well I will be away in Portugal with the car!

Difficult decision but if I had the space and could afford to keep it in the garage I probably would.
I suppose you have to factor in the Tax and Insurance costs doing this though.

He could SORN it and only tax it for April to September (like 85% of all TVR owners).
Ditto with insurance, unless he perceives a TVR fire hazard.
Locked in the garage it should be safe from other risks.

Yes there are not many reasonably priced cars around that hold their value or increase slightly.

It's not as prevalent as many think. If you look at the figures for the Chimaera, Q4 2018 and Q1 2019 still had more licensed vehicles than SORN, i.e. approx. 60%.

Admittedly, there is probably some double counting if a car is taxed for one month of a quarter and then SORN as well, but it still looks likes over a half of all Chimaeras remain taxed through the winter!

I can't do February due to having bits cut out of me the week before. Plus Brands in the winter can be pretty slippery from memory smile

Let's wait until it's hopefully warmer and dry. How does April look for you guys I am fairly flexible but away for three weeks in May.
