Good god man that thread is six years old.
Your tyre pressures do need increasing if you are loading weight into the car. By how much is anyone's guess. It also depends what tyres you have on, some need higher pressures to start with because there are rigidity variations between the commonly used tyres

depends on the tyres. Those pressures are probably for SO2's , I find them a bit low for my current tyres so front dunlops have 24 , rear falkens 26.
Spot on, don't use the settings in the book, they are for S02pp's. S02pp's were very rigid, if you use the same pressures for soft sidewall tyres you'll not have the ride characteristics that TVR intended. Most of the tyres used by Chim/Griff owners have softer sidewalls than those used when the book pressures were selectedGassing Station | Chimaera | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
