Chimaera Seats

Didnt use the Mazda runners wrong shape for the floor too heavy and bulky only at to drill 2 extra holes per side in the floor (used hole cutter) this makes a nice chamfered lead in , did have to drill the TVR runners too again just 2 holes and knock out all the captive studs, I also used cap headed bolts to clear the runner rails (hex heads are to wide) runner to seat , runners bolt straight to the floor without the TVR packers/tilters fitted but this wont suit every height owner, summing up ....... bloody easy really using basic hand tools and a drill and tape measure the fasteners I had in stock already

Tuscan seats fit if you can find some. On their own runners too. You just need to drill new holes, as the runners are wider.
While you are at it, try to secure the seat to something other than fibreglass. My front bolts were swapped for 90mm set screws and I drilled down through the corner triangles in the outriggers. I had a steel strip welded in to give me rear fittings.

Road tested today what an improvement better cushioned lowers more support (no more sliding around) and cooler too as the leather is peppered with tiny holes, only thing left to do is get a pair of those seat belt extenders to bring the belt nearer to my shoulder so less reach back which is made worse with the new seats .... no biggy
