I want to upgrade my brake pads as on the last track day they were fading a bit from high speed . Whats the recommendation chaps, for normal road and a bit of track use ? Also is it best to change front & rear ?Standard 400 96.

I've not had good luck with EBC...

If I were you I'd go with Ferodo's 2500 pad.

Here's a list of good pads.
Mintex 1144 @48UKP

Ferodo 2500 @82UKP

If you're going with Ferodo read this to make sure you order the right ones.

CL brakes RC5+ @141UKP

They list them as one size so best call them if you want these.

Pagid RS4-2 @173UKP

Again they only list one size, so contact them.

You need to decide what you want them for ! some of the extreme pads are a waste of time for road use ..

Been out on a few trackdays , the EBC yellow stuff works for me and they work well from cold .They are probably not the best but i`m happy with them ..Bit of dust but it wipes straight off.

Different car I know but I have Ferodo DS2500s in my 4.3 T350 and they're more than capable of bringing it to a halt quickly time and again from silly speeds - well recommended.
Also worth considering are the black diamond predator pads (don't bother with their grooved discs) that I ran on my old Chimaera, mostly fast road with the occasional track day and lots of very fast Alpine hills I never had any fade or worry about stopping with them.

The ones I listed are not extreme race only pads.
If you're on a budget go with the Mintex, they're about the same price as EBCs.

Like I said, I will not use EBC again.
Not progressive, no feel and in my case the the back plates warped causing drag.
I was lucky to get away with minimal damage.

I changed a couple of years ago to Ferodo DS2500 and have been very pleased.

Only have them on the front, just standard pads on the rear.

Colin, I've used Hawke pads for the last4-5 years, superb imho.

These

But for fast street these are nearly as good, little dust as well!
