I intend to change all the fuel lines soon, does the tank drain when the line is removed or does it have an internal pick-up that goes via the top of the tank?

No the pump is gravity fed so frown I found it easier to remove the fuel tank to change the tank to pump hose (12mm i.d IIRC) when I last did one but that car had all the lines changed inc the vents/breathers too wink

Thanks Simon, I guess I have to remove the tank to change the hoses to the rollover valve, I can see it will be like the three stooges rolled into one to change all hoses, cheers, John

The fuel lines in the engine bay are a right pig to get to. I changed mine when I removed plenum and rockers for painting. Look good now braided steel but chuff me, what a fiddly job.... and I didn't tighten the one to the fuel rail over the compression fitting, and sprayed petrol all over.. " cough"

As said already much easier with the plenum removed, the short one is easy the longer one slightly more fiddly this may help http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=114...

Thanks for the link Simon, has anyone heard that the ethanol content of fuel now jiggers fuel lines much quicker? Any problems or solutions?
