Just a warning to fellow tvr owners to avoid

i had a lot of trouble getting my car back as the guy kept giving me excuse after excuse. i had a three month wait and many promises broken by them. when i got my car back it had to go straight back (to castle tvr, this time).

just wanted to warn you lot.

cheers.

I can understand it is difficult to name companies as someone along the line could get sued but if there is some cowboy service outfit surely we all need to know about them and where they are!!!!!

It's simple for PH to do this without the threat of liable. PH should endorse businesses that have proved to be worthy to the PH collective. If privately shared information is gathered that indicates a change in performance then the PH endorsement is simply withdrawn. No public naming and shaming but we'd all know who not to use by their absence from the list of endorsed businesses.

Its easy to get around this. If you want to put up a thread like this then just blank out who the company is and ask people who are interested in knowing who it is to mail you?

I guess many a Dealer would like to put up the names of damn awkward customers too. It goes both ways.

How about using the offending company postcode or area?
