Good evening people, where can I get replacement front and rear droplinks for my chimeara, have looked on the usual TVR web shops etc very expensive for what they are. Are there any aftermarket droplinks out there or from any modern cars, any help will be much appreciated, Thanks Tim
Been told they are aero grade rose joints from Germany . You could make your own up but you don`t know what you are buying .They are two rose joints with a all thread nut in between ..
I can measure my Steve Heath ones for you so you can match the centres up .Loads on fleabay ,I`m sure some will fit from another car.

Or you could fit standard ones and use the left over to upgrade something else. Depends what you use your car for. If you do track days, maybe Levens are justified, if you just use it for touring with the occassional blast and don't like to corner on the limit just in case the road surface changes or you have to brake (like me), maybe not.
I guess Levens may last longer, so may be more economical in the long run ?

Have a look at the Racing Green/Clevor Trevor drop links, they claim that they are uprated and they are cheaper than the Leven or OE parts.
sounds like best of both worlds.
If any one has any experience of these I would be interested to know your thoughts, as these are on my list of winter jobs.

+1 I'd be interested to hear from someone who runs them. They had a bit in Sprint on them a few months back if I remember too.sounds like best of both worlds.

I`m glad people are thinking out the box ,Looks like you can add the Honda drop links in the alternative parts list ..How much were they ?
There are thousands of different drop links on fleabay , seen some adjustable quality VW drop links for the front .

believe it or not the drop links were less than 15 quid for the pair inc postage, bargain me thinks, I still need some for the front, was gonna make my own but will look at vw ones,
Just measure the centres do they have a funny angle ? if so you need one with a lock nut to get the rightangle.
