Sorry to trouble you chaps, but it's whining (the power steering on the Griff 500, that is) and I think it probably needs a drink, but I can't for the life of me work out if/where the reservoir is - help? Or is this a garage job?

Not just on full lock (I'm used to that on the Volvo - sorry, one has to apologise for owning a Volvo!)- on the Griff, it's every time you move the steering wheel and quite alarming!

Done it now! Quiet as a mouse. I guess I should keep an eye open for leaks...

Can anyone explain why in a 21st century vehicle, one should have to check the same liquids and fluids that people employed chauffeurs and mechanics to keep an eye on in the eary 1900's? I run a couple of other cars and, with at least one of them, I never need to look under the bonnet - ever!

Wasn't there someone with a Honda whose engine seized but who wasn't able to get a new one because Honda manual said you had to check the oil every time you filled the car? Or something like that at least...
