Exhaust cut outs

My Chim has a standard exhaust at the moment and the sound is OK. I like that lazy rumble; however, every now and again I would like it to be a little louder (like my aston martin vantage S that has a valved exhaust). Has anyone ever tried exhaust cut outs with these cars? That way when the missis is in the car I can have the chim on normal mode and I can change it when it's just me.

Just a thought.

I know there isn't much room there, but I will have a look and measure things up.
