AVO shock adjustment

Could anyone kindly remind me when looking at the adjustment knob.. is anti clockwise softer or harder.
I think there are 20 positions in total am on 10 at current.
The fronts feel way too hard and causes significant push on understeer as P Humpries would put it..
Sorry have just forgotten and have to adjust whilst fiddling around from front of car.

I will back them both off to zero try the car and work forward.
