What a plonker!
Discussion
Hi,
I need some help or just simple reassurance.
I left the lights on, on my Chimp when parking today, and when I got back the alarm would not disarm.
I managed to get into the car "somehow" and switch the lights off. I also managed to get some charge to the battery from jump leads.
My problem now is that the alarm has been triggered and I can't switch the thing off with the radio key. Could also be battery on radio key, damn coincidence though.
I have left car over night in hope that when I return it will disarm.
Any help or reassurance please.

Yes it is the standard alarm.
Thanks for the tip.
The radio code has sometimes not worked on a normal occasion.
I was just concerned that when I get back to my pride and joy tomorrow I still wont be able to get it started.
I will try the spare radio key tomorrow in hope that it will do the trick.

Thanks for all your help.
I managed to get it going and am happy again
I disconnected the battery and then reconnected while I held down the key fob.
It took a few attempts cus I kept holding the key fob down for too long and "PANICKED" the alarm (and me).
Then the penny dropped and I let go of the key fob after I heard the alarm system disarm.
PPPHEEEEEWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!
Now I can concentrate on the other little niggles.
I don't mind them CUS I AM LOVING THE EXPERIENCE of the Chimp.
