Last week I changed my Elise for a Chim 500. It goes without saying that the drive is different but over the last week I have found the car occassionally hesitates in 3rd and 4th gear. Especially under reasonably hard acceleration. If I am up around the 5,500 rev mark in third change to 4th and get back on the power there is occassionally a second before the power is released.

I am willing to accept it could be my driving but if anybody else has had a similar problem I would appreciate any advice. In my first week of ownership I am trying to avoid TVR garages!

cheers guys. It has certainly been an enjoyable first week even with the occasional hesitation.

Not the P plate - It's a 99 T plate in Paris blue. getting used to the colour now.

High revs are fine, its when the revs drop as you change up the gears and get back on the power.

Thanks for all the advice - I will have a proper look this weekend.
