fuel tank sender

B****RD bloody car!! Went out to the Peak District for a blast yesterday, and despite the fuel guage showing nearly full, I ran out of petrol whilst overtaking someone!. It really is very embarrasing being laughed at by MGF drivers - Direct Line Rescue arrived 20 mins later with 5 litres of juice. Any thoughts, anyone - how easy is it to replace the sender? The only good aspect to this, was talking to a biker who'd passed us when we were stranded. I saw him at the petrol station and he shouted over "I've never owned a car, but if i did, that would be the car I'd have!" Oh, I forgot - '99T Chimaera 4.0L.
