I am after an Aero 8 Series 5...

... what do i need to know?

Coming from years of Porks, Astons and other exoticas, i think that i am ready for the quirkiness of a Mog Aero 8 S5. As in, the latest model they produced that just came out of production.

I test drove one last year and narrowed my choice to a few things:

• i want a manual.
• no satnav but audio equipment.
• aircon. Possibly heated seats.
• side exhausts.
• dark colour: blue, black, dark grey...

These are pretty much key requirements and not completely impossible by the look of things.

I also gathered some info from morgan talk (membership pending): they leak, rear wheels can be uncentered for a somewhat obscure reason, there can be electrical cut outs, the clock is rarely right...

The thing is, they seem to be an event, being gearbox’d and engined by bmw, i would like to think that they are somewhat reliable... i would like to do roadtrips...

Anything else i shld know?

I keep an eye on ph, auto trader but any pointers on other cars appreciated.
