I have now got some Lexan (Thanks to Geof Hauser HRC) so I can get the side windows made.

I must however confess that, as all the major aspects have got sorted, and it is just Lots of small "finishing" jobs to do, my motivation is flagging. Is it lack of sunshine, old age or .....?

I have put the body back on and cut the lexan for the windows so it now looks more complete - but I will take a break over Easter and then push on to the finish - hopefully! Here are the pics

I have been looking at the front wheels and I have finally found, what I hope, will be a good match for the back Jaguar alloys......

They will need the centres black powder coating and rims recut, but they are 5 spoke 13" dia 5.5" wide to suit midget 4"PCD and at a good price so many thanks Minispares

I have been on E Bay recently, as I had cracked the windscreen against the roll cage sometime ago, anyway, I have now got a good screen as a replacement. Then I looked for a pair of seats and after a trip out today I have got these.

So slow progress is being maintained....

Despite the lack of updates I have been doing some small jobs on the "Mega B". Principally getting the rear wings to sit neatly and fixing the side lexan windows. However the seats do not fit and the roll cage is in need of "adjustment" so I will be doing some more welding soon - but the welder has been declared "SHOT" as the wire feed gave up (- when somebody else was using it).

Well the BGT was stripped down and welding done, roll cage altered and additional roof diagonal fitted, then painted and body shell replaced. Finally it was taken to its new home in Harborough - a "to be built" garage space next door but one...
Then the two Sprites were moved to our drive. Yesterday a van was hired to move all my collection of tools and parts and motorbikes. It was returned this afternoon.
In the meantime I have put lots on E Bay and got two engines, two gearboxes plus lots of other stuff sold , collected or packed for despatch....and my Alfa Romeo Sprint 6C has also found a new owner and was collected today.
Pictures to follow when I have recovered!

...Anyway another job was to get the new five spoke front wheels black powder coated, the rims skimmed and then clear coated - A great job....Thanks to the guys!

Thanks Bertberr
Today I got to change the front wheels as I have had to do some rearranging of my "Stuff" and it all started with taking off the Ro-styles!

There are no carbs fitted as I have to do some work on them to get extra feed pipes fitted and more tapped holes ion the top covers, to secure the ram pipes.

Sadly no progress on the "Mega B". It is tucked up in a temporary (Very) structure

whilst its new home is being built.

There is a garage at our new home but it is a bit full still!

Anyway... Seasons Greetings to all followers of this thread and all who enjoy cars n' " stuff".

FINALLY I have actually made some progress with the MeGa B! I was able to have a few hours in the new garage now that I have lights and power. I have had to do some body alignment adjustments and I have mounted the fuel pump. A couple of the carbs have had extra holes drilled and tapped for the ram pipe bases to be properly bolted in place (only another 4 to do!)

But at least it is moving forward .......aiming for fire up by May.....? This year....!

Two more carbs drilled and tapped - now I am working on the fuel pipe fittings to get a fuel delivery and return flow.
