Medical passed, even with a very sore foot after the op. The doc had a look and described it as "skanky" as he wrote out a prescription for some drugs for it!

That's about it, a-racing we shall go!

Superb! Well done skanky. That would be a good PH handle, or perhaps across the side of your car graham.

Shanky does indeed seem preferable to skanky - the latter from the 'no way authorative' Urban Dictionary >

something or someone that's horrible, dirty or just fxxked up (UK) finding a pair of your old dirty underpants, 'uuuhhh, they're skanky!'

On the other hand, it would be a cunning wheeze to reduce the problem of being constantly mobbed by the 360 Racing Lasses.

Well Done IMOM; you've been and gone and done it biggrin

Hi guy's, just wondering if "ROC" is just a UK thing or could an Aussie join.

Thanks

Neil.

Like Will says Neil, you'd be most welcome.

Come to think of it, a UK based Aussie is probably the optimum dinkum fit for the added value and friendly crack and banter of Radical Enthusiasts that ROC seeks to help achieve and inspire. drunk

In fact, ROC already has several non UK born/based Members, one of whom is an SR8 wielding Aussie bow , based in Oz.

Unluckily for him (but not for you), it'll be rather too much of a trek for him to take in firsthand all the exciting ROC & Radical things that will be happening this year.

Hope to see you soon yes

Relative to Snett next Tuesday (let's hope this pleasant weather holds up because it'll be brilliant) >

Heads Up

The garage allocation has been changed recently so if you haven't received it direct from Amanda, please let me know via radicaloc@googlemail.com and I'll FW it to you.

If you're a Radical wielding trackdayer who is still on the cusp (i.e. shall I or shall I not go for it), look out of your window right now and imagine that on a very quick, nicely technical and extraordinarily clear track, then please contact me via radicaloc@googlemail.com asap for further details.

Or your could be spending the day stuck in an office just outside Cardiff... Sorry Will, Trevor not going to be able to make it along for a ride in the new ROC-car. Will try again for Brands.

Oh well, that's the way the cookie crumbles. Think of us poor beggars grafting away just down the road from your home while you're holidaying in sunny censored South Wales.

Hope we'll be seeing you and getting to do the ballast bit at Brands eek

Maybe 'drag' Cliff along?

Hope you boys had fun in the wilds of Norfolk.

My fun was a little short-lived. Pinged the gearbox 15 mins in and that was the end of play. Engine and box gone away to radical for fixing :-(. I managed to find my way around the circuit though and got my pace up to to waaaaaaay-off-the-pace before I broke it.

Makes me wonder if I should get a spare?

That was rotten luck Graham. I was trying to work out where you had gone as I hadn't seen a Clubsport for most of the day.

Dear all,

Being a bit of a ‘Radicalisti’ myself, thought I’d pop a note on here in case anyone hasn’t seen or heard there’s a years free subscription offer to Track Driver magazine available (nee Circuit Driver) - no strings, no additional gifts and no requirement to hand over credit card details and the like. See: www.trackdriver.com

Sorry ‘doctordave’ (how’s the Clubsport?) and all those likewise on distant shores, but for the time being it is UK only - however, an on-line digital version will be available as an interim solution. I’ll pop a link on here as and when.
