Came back to look at this picture again, what is going on with the rear number plate ? it looks oversize and takes too much away from the rear end....just my opinion and I do have a crack habit. 8bit said:
+1 again, when folk talk of stereotypical cad Jag drivers that's the car that springs to mind for me. I'll have one of these some day.
you must get one even if its only for a short while.i have had every variant over the years from the 3.6 to the 6.0l and they just have something about them that makes you smile when you see them on the roadjamieduff1981 said:

Most modern Jags (i.e. going back to the S-Type in 1999) have had shaped number plates The rear number plate is large and shaped. It actually looks fine in the flesh... just a little odd after I edited the number out.
I've actually bought it to replace my white Nissan GTR which I'm too old for! It's extreme and harsh in comparison to the XFR-S.

Thanks for the positive comments all, I've just hit 21 so a bit younger than the average XJ-S driver (no offence!) but loving every minute of it. The rear end has been completely rebuilt and lots and lots of other expensive work done. My next project on her is to sort the rear transmission mount and over the winter rebuild the front subframe/suspension assembly. Should be very nearly perfect after that!
