For what its worth i think the JEC magazine is very good and they have excellent technical advice if needed.

Agreed. I have read a few copies of the JEC Mag (even though my Father-In-Law owns a classic Porker, he is considering getting a XK8 hence his subscription to JEC) and it is very good reading.

If you get an XK8/R then the xkec is best imho.
