My name is Dave and I am a Jagaholic.
...
I promise to downsize, one Jag at a time.
Looks like a simple case of NAJS (Need Another Jaguar Syndrome)...

Now that I've 'come out', do you know of any treatment?

No, but you have to reveal the whole sordid mess before you can start on the road to Now that I've 'come out', do you know of any treatment?

Nice Mark.
The only thing I am not over keen on is the headlights and i keep on toying with the twin headlight conversion but is it worth £400.00p
Really late reply John but it's the car I always wanted as a kid and I wouldn't change much. I don't like the look of the twin headlights but each to their own. I'm wondering about dropping £270 on a wooden steering wheel and reckon if you can afford the £400 and want twin headlights then go for it. You can always keep the originals in case you change your mind ....The only thing I am not over keen on is the headlights and i keep on toying with the twin headlight conversion but is it worth £400.00p

That really does look very nice and original. What's the mileage if it's not a rude question? It's good to see a Series 1 that's not looking tired. I just love the original dashboard with the central row of clocks and rocker switches (to hell with ergonomics!). But I was never a fan of the waffle-iron grilles. I've got a very solid '69 Series 1 4.2 manual/overdrive awaiting restoration (if I ever get round to it - too many dreams and it will probably end up on ebay soon!) plus a lovely grille to go with it from a S1 XJ V12 which I always thought looked more like a proper Jaguar.
