XJ6 and XJ8.........

I'm referring to the later XJ6 and XJ8. After hearing a few stories about the XJ8 engine I was wondering if the XJ6 has any problems?

I'm a bit concerned about the V8 engine problems, but I've heard the old straight 6 is bullet proof.
