Aston Martins success started with the DB7 developed Jaguar XJ41 which was to be the F-type. More about this can be found below.

This in my opinion has all led to the great success of Aston Martin and could lead to the end of Jaguar. Aston gets ALL the credit for wonderful designs even though the DB7 was the first beautiful "Aston" since the Italian designed Zagato of the 60's and Jaguar gets accused of COPYING.

My main point is that Aston gets all the credit and Jaguar is constantly attacked for copying.
