I asked this same question to fleetsource the end of last week and got the same, no build slot yet. Might try asking again tomorrow.
Don't they need to give the order number and post code in order for you to track it - or will it be assigned to my postcode?
When I spoke to Audi UK they told me the main part was the order number and in fact when I opened 'My Audi' on the PC, I entered my order number, plus "JCT600" as the dealer name (Which is where the Fleetsauce cars are coming from) and then entered my own postcode and it worked. The order is now added to 'My Audi' so it's easily tracked...Don't they need to give the order number and post code in order for you to track it - or will it be assigned to my postcode?
So I've now tried registering with my Audi and then putting the a digit code in along with my postcode butIt comes up with " the order doesn't match our records".
For anyone that has successfully managed to track their order, what does it now come up and say? I'm assuming it doesn't give a build date yet?
I know that none of this is going to help my car arrive any quicker, but just curious about the process
The reason I know this is my original order was for a coupe, which is about to be built, but I changed to a Sportback and it's not recognised, so a panic phone call to the broker and all has been explained (they kept my original order for someone else, or so I'm assured that I'm not getting 2 cars!)
Also, if anyone is interested, I've found a couple of you tube vids of the A5 in black, all the pictures and videos to date have been in red, blue or grey. It's not a S5, but gives you a better idea.

Looks pretty good, I didn't need to worry.

I'm in the same position, it seems that the coupes are on the system as these were the first to be realised and these are now about to be built, the Sportbacks aren't on the system yet, so although you have a code it won't be recognised by the system yet as there working through the coupe orders at the mo.

Mine is a Sportback and is on the system. By on the system, I mean that I can see it on My Audi although no build week assigned yet. For those of you that have tried to register for My Audi, when choosing to add a car, use the option that says "My company has ordered the car" and then in the 3 dialogue fields, I entered my 8 digit Audi order number, JCT600 for dealership name (My car is from Fleetsauce) and then entered my own postcode for home and it works.
Good luck
For everyone trying to get the order tracker to work I hope this helps for those via V4B;
1. Go to https://www.audi.co.uk/youraudi/youraudi-login.htm...
2. Register and follow the reg process
3. Once set up, go to 'I want to track my order' and press the button against 'My company placed the order'
4. Insert order number
5. Put company as VWFS
6. Put postcode as MK14 5LR
This allows me to see my order. Mine begins construction on 28th Nov for mid to late Jan delivery.

I'm afraid this still doesn't work for me. I've tried inputting "VWFS" and have tried my home postcode and yet still no joy - I'm sure it's not going to show anything even if I get it to find the records, but frustrating that I can't get it to work nonetheless.1. As mine was ordered by dealer I had to put in Audi and the dealer postcode for it to work.
I have the coupe ordered and originally it said 28th November build date but now it says in preparation with no build date. Anyone know how long it takes to go through the various stages me then reach the dealer?

click on the previous stage you will still see 28th nov i believe. in terms of progression not sure but about 6 or 7 weeks weeks maybe. mine is due at the dealer end of jan and is in prep stage and given it will need to be put on a train to docks and then likely sit for a week before getting on a boat etc etc I have the coupe ordered and originally it said 28th November build date but now it says in preparation with no build date. Has anyone taken the privacy glass option?
I have not but am wondering if the coupe is going to look a bit odd without it. Struggled to find any picsvids with the privacy glass to make a comparison.
I have, but on the Sportback - not the coupe.I have not but am wondering if the coupe is going to look a bit odd without it. Struggled to find any picsvids with the privacy glass to make a comparison.
I originally added it, then removed it, then added it back on after ordering as I decided 1) I would feel better having it when I have our (young) kids in the back and 2) It would hopefully make the car look more "sporty" than std tinted glass against the dark blue.

for the guys who have ordered from Fleetsauce, all Audi order numbers will be given 4 weeks prior to confirmed build slot date.
Gosh this wait till March is going to be slow...
Cheers for that bch.Gosh this wait till March is going to be slow...
Out of interest what did your order confirmation have listed on it - mine said End March as the "estimated" delivery date to dealer,

Just wondered why no-one on this thread has gone for the dynamic steering, diff and suspension options. Is it because no-one thinks they are worth it or just that they add too much to the monthly cost?
They add way too much to the price from a lease perspective and the dynamic steering never gets good reviews anyway. I diff and adaptive dampers would be great but its the monthly cost. Adding options to leases is not a good practice really but I usually at least add a colour option. I dont think that the S5 is a car to really hustle into the corners anyway - more of a point and squirt car. So I wont miss these options.

I believe its the latter, its a good deal and by adding options turns it into a not so good deal.So its only worth adding those which are really worth it and are quite cheap e.g virtual cockpit
My delivery note from fleet source sounds like it says the same as everyone else, late February early March.
I knew when I signed up for it there would be a long wait as I'm sure we all did. Of course it equally more frustrating when none of us have been able to even sit in or touch one of these cars yet, I doubt it would be a reason for cancelling an order, but it will be nice to see one in the flesh when they start coming through early next year.
I was quite surprised at how quickly extras start pushing the price up. I was considering a speaker upgrade, but £30 a month was quite a big jump over the base price. Decided not to bother with anything but virtual cockpit.

Funnily enough for me the B&O was pretty much a "must have option". I justified the £30/month uplift on the basis that now we have 2 little ones the only opportunity I get to listen to my own music at a decent volume, and for any length of time is either the car, gym or running - and the latter 2 are not as much fun as the first I knew when I signed up for it there would be a long wait as I'm sure we all did. Thinking about it I used the same Man maths to justify all the other options added. Its horses for courses but for me £100/month extra to get the bells & whistles I'd really like is worth it as you'll be driving it pretty much every day for 2 years..
