Just spoke to the sales manager (Dave) and it's all being reviewed by Lex. He didn't give too many details, but said they would have it sorted by the end of the week.

Vwfs have made two mistakes on models before whilst I’ve been on here. The Passat and A4 was well under priced. They honoured it!

Lex are a bunch of absolute fools if that is the case. They should take the hit, they priced it wrong and caused all this hassle for the brokers and us. I guess business doesn’t equal customer service

I hate to say it but I doubt Lex care about a few annoyed PCHers they're not going to make any profit from. They have 360k vehicles on their books that mostly come from no hassle B2B transactions.

I've moved on, I can't expel energy that I know is going to waste. I do hope you all get your vehicles though, it was a storming deal.

I wonder if this includes the early blue chilli A6 SE cars. To be fair 9+23 at £145 was too good.

If its any consolation, my broker did say that Lex were trying to put together a deal for us affected customers. He mentioned a BMW 4GC. I think I'll give it till January now to see whats going on. No point jumping on something quick on the rebound.

If it is all a6 deals including SE and S Line that’s a considerable number of orders given to Audi dealers -

Yes Lex won’t be bother about a few PHers but I’m sure Audi HQ suddenly finding this number of cancelled orders at the end of a quarter will not be best pleased.

At the same time as its Independantly financed then there is probably not much room for the finance company as VWFS were still part of the overall same group..

Interesting to note it was the residual value calculation that was incorrect. The 2018MY was the first time there was a cooking petrol engine in the C7 range in the UK since it was released in 2011.

I think there's more to this.

2 weeks into the deal they've kiboshed it.

If the residuals weren't right surely they would have figured this out earlier. It doesn't take 2 weeks to do some number crunching.

Its not going to be good for Lex if they cannot honour these deals, reputational risk not only with us, but with Audi and the Brokers. Lex must finance tens if not hundreds of thousands of vehicles with the VAG group every year. Audi are not going to be happy with all these A6 cars being ordered/on the verge of being ordered then being cancelled.

Which makes me wonder if there really is a problem at Lexs end? They're going to p"ss off too many people.

Could it the problem possibly lay at Audis Door?

I'm trying to stay positive but I don't think anyone's going to get one of these.

I was one of the first ones to latch onto the A6 S-Line deals a few Thursdays ago and haven't seen any paperwork from Lex, nevermind signing and having countersigned by Lex.

If anyone has please share.

I had 3 credits checks done due to jumping from dealer to dealer to get the best bang for my buck , spent so much time .. very annoying!

It’s like promising a fat kid a big bag of sweets n then laughing in his face.

Damn you Lex.

Total football - any news from BBC? Guessing they’re not happy having to refund several thousand pounds worth of broker fees just before Xmas! No doubt they will do their best to offer an alternative but whether it’s at par with the initial deal, is something to wait for.

I've had a few checks done in the past few months some when I had asked the dealer to wait. Not happy about this and don't think I'll be pursuing anything else now, just stick with the S4 Avant.

Fees will have to be repaid. How can they not when they haven't sourced you a car?

My A6 BE was sourced through CVL. I've had 2 credits checks carried out on me. The first was an identification generic check, the second being a rental agreement. Both checks conducted by Lex Autolease on 12th December.

I've sent a heated email, as I smell a rat with their rationale as outlined in the cancellation email we all received, and their criteria for honouring the orders is debatable.

Typical luck!

I agree - maybe they are using to negotiate a better deal with Audi HQ.

I also think people are awaiting more news on this as some brokers are not offcilly cancelleing orders just yet trying to get to the bottom of this.

LEX have carried out two hard checks on me one on the 08th and then again on the 11th .... slightly annoying if they don’t honour their deal but still leave a marker against my credit check score
