For those who have ordered a Toerag fairly recently what kind of deal did you get? (PCP or lease)
Lease ordered in early July - 3 x 35, fully maintained, 8k miles, £603 p/m. Black Edition with only option black paint. Whether it actually ever turns up....;)

Mind me asking who that was with? Cheers!

I had an order on a 3+35 10,000 at £600 maintained. Standard paint plus interior lighting.

I’ve recently cancelled but deal was direct with Johnson’s (Paul Murray).

Ouch. I ordered mine in early July, if it really is a 12 month wait then I think I'll pull out and look at alternative cars. I can't really be bothered to wait that long for a car that I probably wouldn't have gone for had it not been for a fairly good deal. Shame as they look/seem decent but the delays are madness.

I believe that the higher profit models on the same platform are also being prioritised e.g. Bentayga, Cayenne

Sadly I've had to cancel my Touareg Black edition ordered in June due to the delays and uncertainties on eventual build and delivery dates. Added to that the continuing lack of international travel has impacted my income meaning the Touareg may have been too much of a stretch.

Managed instead to get an in stock Arteon R-Line lease (last one) from a VW dealer. Had one before so although it's not the Touareg I know it will be a nice place to spend the next 3 years at a considerably lower price.

Good luck to those still waiting on Touaregs!

I have been told Sept 2022 but who knows. I actually asked Listers to keep an eye out for cancelled Arteons or Tiguan R Lines just incase.

Hi all,
Just found this thread!
Ordered 10/6/21 and supposed to be getting built next week (17/1/22).
Order was with Leap Leasing.
Hopefully no more delays now, it’s been knocked back a few times, but never got this close to actual build date.
Probably (all being well) be here for March.
Anybody else got a similar Bw?
It was a BE. 286bhp. Added tow bar and heated rear bums.

Cheers

I ordered in June 21 expected August 22 - sooner if I deleted a load of options.

Jesus wept.
I’ve held on this long as there’s nothing even close to as good a deal, but 14 months is a bit much.

We currently have a BE in white standard and have an order in for another to replace it - standard plus ambient lighting and Aquamarine Blue paint. Build week 17 Sept 22 delivery apparently.
I think I will be lucky to see it in 2022 to be honest.

It’s a Toureg R with every option except night view. However by the time it comes the model will be quite old.

True, I hear you.
I’ll find out on Monday if mine actually has begun to be glued together.
I think if I go back to car hunting and research again, I’ll be right in the dog-house. If this car comes and brings 3 years of plush motoring for us and the dog, I’ll be happy. Maybe a facelift will come 2023?
But as it’s leased (I’ve recently pcp’d and done ok out of the crackers used values) I don’t have to worry about the value at the end.
See what happens.

A full new model wont come - it will be a mid cycle refresh. Apparently Q4 2022 or Q1 2023. I would bet my hat it will be the usual type of tweaks - change in lights front and back light design, maybe a different bumper and some small changes to trim inside. The interior and exterior wont change much just nips and tucks.
If it was a full new model I would consider not taking mine but a refresh doesn't bother me. I think these cars are underrated and with the more powerful diesel engine there a great all rounder.
Plus, cancelling and then starting again with another car is probably going to just take longer given most cars are a 9 to 12 month wait now minimum.

I am really hacked off, having ordered in early July (standard spec BE) I was told October, November, December and then March delivery. It has now slipped to end of September which is just madness. I am now trying to see if I can claw the admin fee back but no idea where I'll go from here. My wife is currently using my son's Fiesta since the A35 went back in October, and buying anything decent is really dear currently. Ahhhh.

I think I’ll reorder when the deals are back on, I got over 10% off the Toureg R - I’m happy with my Ioniq5 for a year or so.

Has anyone got or driven the tsi petrol version? I see these are apparently in stock with a few brokers but wonder how poor in reality the mpg is compared to the diesel lump.
