I think it’s time we start asking for our fees back from gb vehicle leasing.

Then order a Karoq or xc60

Who is the best broker/dealer to get the xc60 with? Might get one myself instead of the a6

Seems it’s icarleasing as the cheapest -

Various deals about and they have removed them from their website but alegedly can still get the deals before new year.. have a look at the moan leasing thread

From my calculations it essentially going to cost approx £700 more over the term than the a6.

Did you remove the £360 broker fees too?

I will be onto it tomorrow. There are many who have gone for the XC60 deal but that doesn't suit me as I do 12-14000 miles a year plus my wife's got a Jeep and I can't drive it the way I would want to, I don't think 4x4s and I mix.

Apply the pressure to Lex and let's see what they do about to sort this out.

I was tempted by the XC60 as it's a lovely motor but it would have been £30 month more expensive and the fuel bill would be higher too so it pushed the monthly cost a little high for me. I doubt LEX are going to do anything at all but I will still make sure my complaint is dealt with. The search goes on for me

I have taken my lease out with GBV leasing and no one has been intouch with me about this matter. Has anyone else not been contacted by their broker.
I’m guessing they don’t know what is happening yet so that’s why they haven’t been in contact with me.

I'm guessing it's only a matter of time before they call you. You could be right though and they are trying to see if there's a solution before getting in touch. When I saw that my broker was calling I immediately thought they could get the car earlier and I was all excited....only to be brought back down to earth with the words "you won't be getting your A6". My bet is that LEX will do nothing to help us out (all 500 of us or so I was told!).

They didn't contact me either. I was told it was a one off as everyone had been contacted - seems not. I've been in touch with them myself and had my fee refunded but didn't cancel my order just yet. Looking to see how Lex respond and then make a decision.

Update: they cancelled my order. Very disappointed as I had a chat specifically asking them not to, seems they do things on their own accord.

I would have thought that the minute they refunded the fee, that meant that the order was cancelled?! My broker refunded me straight away and said it was a no go. I just told them to keep me updated although I have contacted them a few times since and not heard back from them. Still not heard a peep from LEX. The "team" were supposed to be in touch by now...

Very poor customer service.

I might send them an email stating that I wish to have a refund if there is no indication the order is happening

Reason I asked for it not to be cancelled is because if Lex/Audi/GBV have a revised deal I don't particularly want to go through the whole funding credit check scenario again.

Makes sense! I didn't get the choice. I was just told it was cancelled and that was that.

Well, two working days after Carol passed it over to her team (at Lex), no further communication. I find that quite poor.
I see lots have gone for the XC60. I’m sure you’ll all enjoy them. It’s out of my target price unfortunately, but what a lovely car!

Waiting for a first quarter mega deal smile
It was quite nice when the A6 was lined up and I didn’t have to check The Lease Deal thread every few hours!!

Exactly the same here! No contact, XC60 a little over my budget and now I'm checking for deals every 5 mins again!

I have been given a complaint reference number. Whoop de f”””ing doo! Thinking about it I’m not a lex customer so they can ignore and treat me like that, it’s not a good model but their choice. I’m still interested to hear what they say if anything!

Yeah - I went for the xc but still going to follow up on this..

If I don’t hear anything back by next week will send a follow up email with saying next steps I will contact financial Ombudsman Service for carrying out credit checks on a financial product that didn’t exist...
