Looks great.....I really do like the Navarra blue, if it wasn't for the wife I would have had this colour.

Reminds me, i need to get my p plate on the car. Did you have to pay an admin fee? If you have tel no. to hand that would be great. If not I'll do some googling!

Waiting to 17 runs out then will change mine to P plate. My fee is £40.00.

Just making the best of having a 17 plate while I have one, and I'm in no particular rush as it is on retention.

I personally would rather have my own reg on it than a 17 plate (hence why mine is registered this way) but each to their own! If I am paying a take it off the car fee to VWFS and DVLA I may as well have my 2 years worth

Yep, fair do's. I actually may change it at the end of July as driving to south of France and need to get euro plates which I already have with the P plates, so not much point in then changing the current ones for euro.

If you mean by " euro plates" that have GB, well personally, I'm not marking the car and never had a problem plus don't have to be worry about the "flashing boxes" . I have done in last year around 30k miles abroad (Germany, Belgium etc.) and guess what? Nothing !

Sheffield Audi did the change over for me I didnt need to contact the DVLA. Fee was about 50 quid.

Apologies all for asking what is going to be a stupid (and probably already answered) question, but I've trawled the last 10 pages or so and couldn't see the topic.

CVL have quoted me a price (that is still showing on their site) for a no option spec S5 SB with September delivery - should I be expecting that to be bumped up for the new VED? I've assumed it's included.

Also, is the CVL deal as quoted a good one? £3.6k + 23 x £353.99?

Appreciate any help / direction!

Hi I would say that is the factored in price. My deal was with CVL (solent) and 320 ish a month and 3600 deposit with 180 fee. It works out 440 more over the term (2 years) still a great price for the car IMO

In France the Gendarmerie are robbing bast**ds and will fine you for anything they can (particularly the Brits). I've heard of someone being fined £1000.00 Euro's cash for just having a radar detector left in the boot!.....so, I think I will stick with the Euro (GB) plates.

Mine has now arrived.
It was delivered in a covered trailer by JCT 600 at 10.30 this morning.
I have taken a few pictures of it rolling off the trailer and are now about to apply my coat of sealant/wax whilst the weather is clear, so please forgive me not posting pictures straightaway.
I will be putting pictures up later.
Mine is black with privacy glass and red leather - it looks absolutely stunning.
Haven't driven it yet, it literally rolled off the trailer and onto my drive and remained there until I finish applying the sealant this afternoon

Got to admire your dedication to getting the sealant on, I think I might have buckled and taken it for a cheeky once around the block.

You must have given it a rev or two on the drive?
