That's refreshing to see, after all the reports of truly shocking mpg fatgus said:
I found it on the Audi-Sport forum... I'd read somewhere on here about the MY18 changes for the S4 so wondered what was in store for the S5... unfortunately, nothing worth shouting about
Hope it's OK to post these... I couldn't see anything in the rules.

So S4 buyers get over £400 worth of options for £400 odd and S5 buyers get some cheesy lights for £600 odd?Hope it's OK to post these... I couldn't see anything in the rules.

It seems that way When I first glanced at the changes, I read it as no charge for the S5 'upgrade' (I use that term very loosely) but I think that's just for the cabrio? I suppose the lights are quite handy, but who on earth would choose to pay £600 so they look like Audi rings

Quite Audi use the new Model Year to adjust pricing on as well as revise specs. It looks like this is basically a price increase across much of the range, offset on older models with some extra goodies.
Because A5 is basically a brand new model I guess there's no need to start padding out the spec. A4 is almost a year older so gets some token trinkets

And the A5 has the leather or alcantara as standard too which the A4 didn't.Audi use the new Model Year to adjust pricing on as well as revise specs. It looks like this is basically a price increase across much of the range, offset on older models with some extra goodies.

My brother got a face lifted S3 back in Sept and even his no option car had the door light Audi rings as standard. Haven't we got LED puddle lights anyway and surely its just a matter of changing the fitting that's already there? Our Mini has them too and you can buy the different logos for about £20 of something that simply changes what is projected on the floor.
I'm glad I have the standard puddle lights, the rings projection option is so naff IMO. Seen these sold online as a retrofit for a fraction of the £600.00 Audi charge if you really wanted them.18ME said:
Had chance to give it a quick wash on Tuesday as it stayed dry and the water filter makes drying a black car much easier in the sun. Although it's had the ceramic coating it still gets dirty pretty quickly in the rain especially at the back.
I think I need a filter, water marks are a nuisance. What ceramic coating do you have and was it a DIY job?TomScrut said:

What ceramic coating do you have and was it a DIY job?Yes, the filter definitely helps as it doesn't leave any water marks after the final rinse but you have to use it sparingly and only for the final rinse down otherwise it would work out very expensive.
