I did... until the engine blew up at the beginning of this year!
did you get a replacement? if not, why not?Credit due to Audi, they offered replacement engine straight away under warranty. Took about six weeks to get a crated one in, dealer showed me their trade receipt - £11k plus VAT... Plus fitting!!! Wouldn't have fancied that bill and very glad I hadn't had it mapped!
I didn't really want the car back after that and they 'helped' me into something else.

Really interested in getting a car with one of those engines but this is really concerning.

Very fast in a straight line and stable at speed, but the only thing I didn't like was the handling - too wallowy and no fun to chuck round corners (no turn in and too much oversteer).
They loaned me a TT while it was in and I ended up buying one. Not as fast, but much sharper to drive.

befiore it went bang, how did you find it?
Loved the look and interior and it sounded really nice as well - S-Tronic blips the throttle nicely on down shifts!Very fast in a straight line and stable at speed, but the only thing I didn't like was the handling - too wallowy and no fun to chuck round corners (no turn in and too much oversteer).

About 4 days later (just after I had just bought 2 new tyres...Grrrr!!!), I was driving down the A3 at about 70mph and I just felt it lose power again. I limped off the road and parked it up, but above about 2000 rpm it was knocking like hell and that was the end of that!
I did Google it at the time, but didn't find anything to indicate a common fault, so I wouldn't worry too much. But... I wouldn't run one without a warranty, just in case!
