Quick question for the lucky guy who already has his.....when using apple car play/android auto does Google maps show on virtual cockpit or just the touchscreen.
I use any this on my wife's 3008 and when using Google maps I cant get rid of the green direction box on the screen, is this always the case? Not used it before.
Thanks.
Only the touchscreen, which is a slightly annoying. Only the Audi maps is available on the virtual cockpit I use any this on my wife's 3008 and when using Google maps I cant get rid of the green direction box on the screen, is this always the case? Not used it before.

Also didn't know about the Audi contribution, but as you said the numbers still work out, but defo a strange one.
Did you order direct from Audi? Can anyone explain the contribution situation? Read above it doesn’t make any sense
3+23 still as quoted when order was placed. But they will now deposit the contribution in our bank accounts for them to take it back with the 3 months upfront payment.

Just had the following update from RGW:
"The latest update on your order confirms your vehicle is fully built and in transit to the port of exit now. When it arrives in the UK a registration number will be allocated and your finance contracts will be generated and sent over for signing."
Undoubtably looking at a December delivery in this case I reckon!

Hi
Great reading the input from you all.
Can anyone share the link to track the order?
Placed order in mid-September.
Thanks
It's on the "Owners Area" and available on the Audi UK App however it has been down for maintenance since September, my App still says it's back online on November the 2nd which was obviously a week ago now!Great reading the input from you all.

That's outrageous! Definitely will not be paying anything like that, i know people have shopped around on the Audi Sport forum and have got it done for circa £200-£250 all in which I'd be happy with. Was coming around £500 from a professional shop

£200? I’d possibly consider that. Well surely someone here will end up getting it done
And if they do please drop the details!
So long as you don’t live by me and so I’ll be the only one with the ‘nice A5’!

If in Germany perhaps three weeks to when you will collect the car. If in the UK port awaiting customs clearance, then two weeks.
With the current lockdown are dealerships open to sort this out? Think all our emails said last week they were at UK port, so 2 weeks would be good.... going to be a long two weeks though!rb5201 said:

Yes, of course. Dealerships are open. Perhaps not for a browse at new cars / second hand stock, but for orders coming in for new customer delivery, yes. For servicing, yes. This lock down is not even a lock down. Seems to be beauty salons, gyms, bars and restaurants that don't do take away are affected. Everything else is 'essential' haha. You couldn't make it up! Also, the majority of dealers (with exception to the major chain of many marques under one name) get the commissioning and pre-inspections done by third party companies at the docks when they arrive in the UK. The dealer then gives them a final wipe over, as it were. Where as the major ones do it on site at the dealership. If the latter, could be talking a week sooner. All depends how quick they pass customs and DVLA issue documents

I agree this lockdown is like nothing much as changed. Last time roads were deserted with majority of people staying indoors. This time they are just as busy as they were two weeks ago. Most shops still open via click and collect. And why are garden centres open and gyms shut? Ill stop now before I get into a proper covid rant and go off topic :-)Gassing Station | Audi, Seat, Skoda & VW | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
