If I gel with it it might make for quite a low price if we're given the option to buy.
Based on experience in our family on a leased Golf the price they wanted was full forecourt retail - and VW retail used car pricing is generally bonkers. When we got the Tiguan new 9mths ago I initially looked at nearly-new as we needed it quickly. However you had to go back 12mths before used ones were cheaper than new - and that was going back to the previous engine and no sat-nav etc.
Having said that I noticed they have a website for requesting a price now, so perhaps they're a little keener these days.
I was playing with the settings on the individual driving mode and everything is pretty obvious, except the Active Cruise Control (ACC modes), and googling has not helped, other than to highlight that people are getting Active Chassis Control (DCC) confused with ACC thanks to the acronym (why not call it Dynamic Chassis Control?)
I'm guessing the ACC mode alter how responsive the car is in cruise? - i.e. how quickly the car gets back up to speed when the car in front get out of the way.

ACC modes? I've set the distance but that's all. I think depending on what driving mode you are in, eco/normal/sport determines how quickly the car gets back up to speed.
Re: ACC even in very close mode it's not close enough for slowish rush hour traffic. Everyone keeps pulling in front of me
More suited to normal motorway driving I think!

It's worth going into individual mode and changing the preferences - I currently have steering on Sport, ACC on Sport, Air Con on Normal and gearbox on Drive, then I can just pull the gear stick back to go straight into sport when needed.Re: ACC even in very close mode it's not close enough for slowish rush hour traffic. I think Sport steering may be a bit stiff for my rat-run commute though - there's just too much bleedin' choice with this car.

Is CarPlay worth fitting? I use Waze a lot would this come up on the screen?
Nope - I fitted my old Pioneer carplay headunit in my wife's car, and Apple Maps is good but needs a data connection - only Carplay compatible apps will come up on the screen.I'm still trying to decide whether the £215ish to add carplay is worth it - the live traffic is really good on Apple Maps - the built in VW nav traffic is very poor.
You can still play and control all your music from your iphone - if you connect through Bluetooth Audio and listen to your music off your iphone your Wave spoken instructions will come out of the headunit, you just need somewhere to put your phone - I open the ash try and lean mine up against the climate controls.

My car comes next Friday to replace a Golf R. Am I the only person who has a manual 150? I was lucky enough to get a cancelled order and couldn't turn it down for £3,300 for 2 years..
Hello, able to get out in mine and enjoying it , but asking a question about your delivery...
Mine was delivered in person from Cardiff... 196 miles that I've been told can't be subtracted from my end mileage total. I notice others have had there's delivered on a trailer / truck. Did you pay for this delivery yourself or was it included in the price?
My lease broker was central uk vehicle leasing and delivery was included, but not by what method.
I write to the dealer and I got the impression from their response was that they were doing me a favour in driving it to me:
"Good morning Simon,
I believe the mileage on the vehicle when it was delivered to you was 196 miles so the excess mileage charge would work out to be around £14.00 inc vat, we paid £150.00 + vat plus fuel to have your vehicle delivered to you free of charge to yourself on a date that suited you.
We weren’t instructed by the leasing company to get the vehicle transported which would have been a charge to yourself for that service we instruct all leasing companies that it is a driven delivery we offer free of charge.
Many thanks"
I don't know what the agreement is between the dealer and the lease company, none of my business really.. Am I being over the top in being a bit agrieved by the response or is it a fair point? To be honest, the communication from the dealer throughout the process hasn't been ideal. It's not about the £14.00 , at all, I just expected delivery mileage to be written off.
