I ordered 26th October and mine is STILL showing in QC.
It's been there over a week now.
Have you called the dealer, as mine was on QC on the tracker when I called and the dealer said it had left the factory, the next day the tracker updated. It's been there over a week now.
As said on here before the tracker seems to lag.
I may as well have asked my mum.

I wouldnt worry about it yet. The dates got flung around left right and centre on mine before they settled around where I was originally quoted. Then they built it before it was supposed to. Its in QC now when it was only meant to be made this week.
It might still be in QC in another week's time. Mine's still there, 10 days after the tracker moved to that stage.TomScrut said:

Just went in to the tracker, I had a message yesterday saying my order had updated but it was still showing in QC, but it does say "S5 is on it's way" which it didnt say when it first went into QC I don't think (under the picture of the car at the top). I'm wondering if it (and same for you) has left the factory but for some reason the tracker hasn't fully updated. Here's a screenshot:

Possibly. Spoke to the dealer again this morning and they said they 'think' it should arrive 'within the next 2 weeks'. Starting to think then just make this stuff up on the hoof.
I would think there must be something pretty serious for it to be in QC for more than a week given a lot of them appear to be skipping through! It wouldn't matter what was wrong with the car; if they can build one on a matter of hours, they could re-shell it and put a new gearbox in it in less than 10 days.

Bloody preparation, it's been in preparation for about 10 days now, I'm aware that our Bavarian cousins have a reputation for being exact, but this preparation better be worth it, how much flippin preparation is needed FFS.
Think yourself lucky, they're still doing a cut-and-shut job on mine in QC. they've been at it since a week last Saturday.TomScrut said:

Sorry but what the hell have they done to your car!
My current car's tyres are on about 1.8mm tread depth at the front, I'm avoiding corners and only driving (like a pensioner) when it's slippery and wet to avoid wear, it's due a service at the end of the month and the tax is up too!
I'm also at 19,100 miles on a 20k deal.
I am in a very similar position with mine, it has to have a service before it goes back but I am about out of miles and I too have not a lot of life left in my rear tyres. My current car's tyres are on about 1.8mm tread depth at the front, I'm avoiding corners and only driving (like a pensioner) when it's slippery and wet to avoid wear, it's due a service at the end of the month and the tax is up too!

I think we're all in the same boat, so to speak.
My current lease needs to go back before it needs a £500 service (bloody BMW) and I've got less than 2,000 miles to play with before it's due.
I've got a couple of 500 mile round trips to do on business over the next 2 weeks as well.
Has anybody used a bus recently? Are they any good?

Both that and the fact I'm not impressed with the Audi dealer 'experience' so far.
I can't say I was impressed with my dealer when I had my S4 but I want the car and hope I never have a lot to do with the dealerIJB1959 said:
The new RS5??......Hmmmm, crap from the start again. What would you consider?
I was in the process of ordering an M4 CP when BMW's deposit contribution dropped massively in October last year, which sort of knocked the wind out of that one. I couldn't face paying in the region of £5k more for the same car, for the sake of it being 1 day into the next quarter whilst I was pondering over the spec'.Half of me thinks I should have just bitten the bullet and bought it as that was what I really wanted. That's also probably why I'm not full of enthusiasm for the S5. It does feel rather a 'spoilt' attitude I've got though, given that many people would give their right arm for a new S5.
Honestly not sure what I'd go for if not the S5 now.
I suppose I should stop sulking and just be patient.

Has anyone received their Sportback yet?
Just received, signed, scanned, emailed and posted mine back. It has a reg number so must be very close now!If this is the first time you have leased, dig out your Driving Licence and a recent Utililty Bill so you can fire it all straight back.
I won't be rushing to do anything at the moment. They still can't decide if the car's actually been built, despite being in QC for 13 days and counting.
I'll probably be cancelling and doing something else instead due Audi's utter incompetence,
Just wondered how everyone else was getting on with their orders.
Edit: I'm talking about Audi themselves being useless, not the dealer or broker. Just to be clear.

Some decent deals on 335D and Cupra 300 at the moment. 335D only 5k miles which is very strange in a diesel.I won't be rushing to do anything at the moment. They still can't decide if the car's actually been built, despite being in QC for 13 days and counting.

My tracker still 15th May, just know if i took these deals it will move back to 17th April, but if i didnt and waited for the S5, it will keep getting delayed forever.
With yours next in line it seems, i would stick with it.

Was looking into the same idea for the kids. Yes, the MMI lets you play movie files but only whilst stationary (the car knows if you start moving!)
Wonder if they guy who is backhanding the camera to get lane assist will be able to get the film while moving or even on the VC!That would be amazing, although illegal.
Does it still play the audio while moving or not.

Should have continued with the M4 purchase I was going through in September last year rather than getting involved with this bunch of halfwits at Audi.

If it wasn't for the tracker you might not have been any the wiser. Really cannot understand why you are in your situation..... really bad.
What has really pissed me off is that I think (?) my order was placed the earliest out of all those in this thread and had the earliest build date. I was told to expect delivery by early March and definitely no issue with it running into April. Since it went into QC status it's been overtaken by pretty much everyone and there seems to be no sign of it moving.TomScrut said:

I would take the M4 any day over the S5 if all things are equal. Even with huge dealer discount I can't see the M4 being anywhere near the same sort of ballpark.
Buying an S5 isnt in the same ballpark as leasing one, so buying an M4 is going to be a lot dearer surely? The cost isn't an issue, to be honest. I wasn't ordering the S5 based upon a budget; it was just a good deal and seemed an acceptable alternative at the time.

An M4 is far more expensive to buy (or lease) than an S5.

I really dont blame you for feeling like telling them to poke it... especially with other orders overtaking yours. I'm sure you wouldve said in a previous post, but have you spoken to Audi head office, and been given any kind of explanation? Whatever the explanation I guess it's unacceptable anyway... if I had the funds, i'd be sitting in an M4, no doubt! I loved my 4 series, and it was only a 420 diesel, so christ knows how amazing the M4 is to drive....The cost isn't an issue, to be honest. I had a good test drive in an M4 last year. It was brilliant and very different to my current 330d, as you'd hope.
I'm sure the S5 is fantastic too - I wouldn't have ordered one if I didn't think that. Just had the wind knocked out of its sails for me with this fiasco.
