Any B9 S4 owners on PH yet?
Discussion
Getting the shocks done on Thursday surprisingly cheaper that I thought they would be at £112 each for genuine ones.
Tyres will be next noticed PS4s are on offer just now but I do like the standard Hankooks.
Brakes are expensive I got a friend who works at a factor pricing them see how it compares to the dealer with the 3+ discounted price.

I picked up a B9 S4 Avant in September, it was from an Audi approved used dealership and they changed the rear pads, fronts had already been done. They also replaced the tires. It went in for an oil service last week and the video reported discs and pads were all less than 10% worn and tires all above 5.5mm (lock down means its hardly been used). It also came with a two year warranty, so it will be covered until its 5 years old.
Enjoying the car so far and really looking forward to driving it a little more than taking it out for 45-60 minutes every week to make sure it gets to temp.
Haven't given it a good clean yet but plan on spending some time with the polisher and then one of the spray on ceramic coats once it warms up a little.

Time for some new boots, doing a bit of research you can put on 255/35/19s over the 245’s which appear to have the added bonus of being much cheaper.
The Hankooks seem pretty decent anyone changed for anything else?
I ( or rather VWFS) swapped the Factory supplied Hankooks with 20k on them for a set of Michelin PS4. They were quieter, grippier and the front end seened to gain some feel ( not much, it's an Audi after all)The Hankooks seem pretty decent anyone changed for anything else?
But you could replace old tyres with new tyres of the same brand and type and would probably feel this to some degree I suppose.

Just noticed PS4S are down to £130 today at black circles.
Any updates on S4 or S5's?
Am looking at something maybe 2017/18 age, probably about 50,000-80,000 miles, but realistically what are people getting for long term fuel economy, across mixed driving? Think I'd prefer the S5, and then get something practical and boring for day to day duties.

We used to get low thirties on average, and hitting 40 for a long run. Do all S4’s have memory seat function? Or is it just ones with the ‘memory pack’? Looking at S4’s (2018 ish)as an option for a daily driver.
Surely they wouldn’t fit electric seats with no memory function? I’ve never owned an Audi, so not overly familiar.
From initial research, most desirable options to have seem to be B&O stereo, interior led lighting and virtual dash a must.

Memory seats and mirrors were options: 2018 Price list https://press.audi.co.uk/assets/documents/original...Surely they wouldn’t fit electric seats with no memory function? I’ve never owned an Audi, so not overly familiar.
