Lease on Golf R
Discussion
Hi Chaps, I was about to take the plunge on an M135i personal lease but wanted a tad more kit and the price only made sense to me in basic form.
I am looking for the Metallic Blue Lapiz, 3 door, possibly DSG and happy to limit at 10k per annum.
Where would you suggest I try for the best deal?
Thanks in advance.
Also what would be the best forum other than here to join for knowledge and of course banter.

If you PM me your contact details I will pass them onto a couple of guys who are knocking 6 bells out of each other on these at the mo - you will easily get under £10k.I am looking for the Metallic Blue Lapiz, 3 door, possibly DSG and happy to limit at 10k per annum.

Gateway 2 Lease had the best prices I could find and were also the best to deal with in my opinion. Check prices for 13k pa, they are only £7 or £8 a month more and the excess mileage is a bit steep.I am looking for the Metallic Blue Lapiz, 3 door, possibly DSG and happy to limit at 10k per annum.

Good choice of spec (not that I'm biased). Take a look at rforum.co.uk for all-things-R.I am looking for the Metallic Blue Lapiz, 3 door, possibly DSG and happy to limit at 10k per annum.

EVO review here chaps - http://www.evo.co.uk/carreviews/evocarreviews/2916...
Yeah, considering there's quite a few youtube clips of the car, there's no meaningful reviews surfaced yet.
Got a quote of £293 and £299 for non and maintained prices respectively on a 6 + 23 deal with G2L, stock 5dr man with paint.
Very tempting. Is it worth the extra over a thoroughly adequate octavia vrs at £215 on the same deal?

Great timing .... I was looking at these last night for a run around for the missus (and a toy for me) :

£309 3dr DSG 10k 2yr 6month deposit. I think these are cracking deals but have never down a lease before - anything to watch out for ?

If you want a few more miles 13k pa adds about £9 to the non maintained price. Pretty good as the excess mileage charges are quite high.Got a quote of £293 and £299 for non and maintained prices respectively on a 6 + 23 deal with G2L, stock 5dr man with paint.

Tempted by one of these although we would probably prefer an S3 sport back if the lease deals were similar and the spec was similar.
Just starting to look at the options list on both of these. How have other people specced theirs? you would have thought a top of the range R would come with pretty much everything except for maybe leather and sat nag.

I only added basic nav and met paint, everything else I normally want is standard fit.Just starting to look at the options list on both of these. Whats everyones feelings on the ACC option, worth the money?
My wife is insisting on leather on cars but this does not really make sense to me on a lease car; if I was buying one then sure but lease?!!? I need to get some quotes with and without.
At the moment we are thinking 5 dr DSG, leather, metallic, and basic nav.

I initially specced the basic nav but my friend, who took delivery of his new Mk7 GTI, put me right off it so I swapped it for the Comfort Climate screen and Advanced PhoneMy wife is insisting on leather on cars but this does not really make sense to me on a lease car; if I was buying one then sure but lease?!!? Mine spec is 3dr DSG, Lapis Blue, Winter Pack, Climate Screen & Advanced Telephone connection. I have my Garmin for when I need Nav. I would have liked a few more options but as its only a lease, I didnt see the point in leather (especially not without heated seats) and the boxes I ticked take it up to my car allowance
