Anyone planning to extend when term ends? Reckon if we keep below the mileage we’ll have decent quotes??
I'll definitely get a quote.I had an A4 on lease 5 years back now, £166/month 9+23. They quoted the 3rd year at £92/month nothing extra upfront, and I went over my mileage limits massively.
Sadly the 4th year quote was £350/month.
Anyone know where fuse box and what fuse are for the headlights? My dipped headlights don't work but all other lights work and no warning lights or message on MMI or VC. The manual light switch does not work either, when manually switch to headlights the VC dims but headlights don't turn on. I'm confused.

Just give it to Audi and let them deal with itIn regard to servicing
I asked if we could use a third party garage, this is what AFS said to my via email
“If you have a Fixed Price Servicing agreement with us, then in order to claim the service under this agreement you will have to have the service completed at an Audi retailer garage.
However, if you are not intending to claim a service under an FPS agreement, then you can have the vehicle serviced at a third party garage; however, you must ensure that parts and/ or services used are Audi approved.
Should you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us.”
Thought it may help

I would maybe check your contract, mine states authorised Audi dealers. See 9.4.1I asked if we could use a third party garage, this is what AFS said to my via email

Im 11 months into mine, with 8500 ok the clock and it needs an oil change. All journeys are good runs and I drive like a grandad. Audi have just said it sometimes does pop up. Wasn't expecting to shell out any extra money.
On a plus and the above above servicing, audi do priceatch independent dealers, its on there website, as long as genuine parts are used.
Aidi quoted 269, local independent quoted 165.
Audi tried to say they don't price match but would look at the price, came back with 173. Wasn't going to continue to argue for £8 and booked it. So may worth a haggle.

Is it on fixed or variable servicing? I asked that they set my Q5 to variable when I picked it up, they didn’t so after 4000 miles it’s saying it needs an oil change in 5000 miles. When I asked the dealer they said just reset the oil change notification when it says it’s due.On a plus and the above above servicing, audi do priceatch independent dealers, its on there website, as long as genuine parts are used.

Mine is a grower, liking the interior more and more. The infotainment is still a joke in terms of usability and it shunts sometimes (like 'kangaroo petrol' - it's a diesel) below 40ph - anyone else seen this?
As an aside, does anyone know where I can get a cheap bike carrier for it (i.e. cheaper than renting bikes at center parks)? Thanks

My S Tronic does some funny business when it’s jumping between 4 and 5th on local roads As an aside, does anyone know where I can get a cheap bike carrier for it (i.e. cheaper than renting bikes at center parks)? Thanks
Few weeks back I rang Audi to enquire about oil change only to inform me that there is a service recall on my A5 and will need to be booked in before any schedule service can be carried out. I did inform them that it's a lease car and I've not received any notification from Audi. Anyway, I'm having recall work done on Wednesday then scheduling oil service soon.
Also, I've done fair bit of mileage on mine and intermediate service usually is required at 18k - am I better delaying my oil service for intermediate which will be required in couple of months time?

Been quoted approx £250 for service or £350 for the service pick which is effectively the two services she’ll need. That’s at newcastle Audi. Already hoping for reasonable extension quotes, will at the least continue on 6 month informal extension when the time comes.
Any advice on whether the lease company/VWFS need informed about the pheasant shaped hole my partner put in the grille of her A5 today? It’ll be going to the Audi Bodyshop via insurance for repair, just not sure if I need inform the aforementioned?

Some people are still getting decent extension quotes even with the shortage from VWFS
Also Aslong as it’s an Audi Body Shop - keep the receipt and when they collect if they get funny show them the receipt - alternatively email in to Audi FS and explain situation to cover yourself.
