DSG 6 speed help
Discussion
A few times now when I set off from being parked up in manual mode I go to change up and the car just massively over revs, lurches and makes a horrible noise hitting the limiter. I throw the car straight back into drive and it sorts itself out. The car has been running and already warm when its happened and also it is driving normally, not instantly putting my foot down.
Also downshifting in manual going down from about 4th it lurches a bit sometimes.
Previous experience in a 7 speed DSG this didn't happen, but i know the gearbox's are different.
Anybody know whats going on/if its normal?

If you start in manual and it's hitting the limited then one has to assume it's not accepting either a paddle shift input or stick movement, I assume these work normally when it's hot? These are just electrical switches so one could be faulty, in manual the car should change up to protect itself, but only near the limiter assuming you don't flick the paddles, so my guess is a failed sensor or switch.
I do still like DSG! Its silky smooth in D and you can't feel any gear change's or or down.
The car has alot more torque than the other one and I thought maybe gearing down too early was causing it.
It's only a 2 year old car with 12k on it so if it keeps up I'll get the dealer to plug it in.
Just one other thing apart from that bugging me is a loud hiss/rattle going from the turbo to the exhaust when you accelerate. They told me it was the housing holding the exhaust on rattling and most Leons do it, but it doesn't really sound right.
