Very unusual spec on that A3. SE but a lot of options on it. Definitely loose the stripes though!

Also I spotted this for sale locally to me over the weekend, done a few miles but great value for a un-abused facelift 2.0 TDI - [Removed]

Yeah I though that. It's like someone wanted an s line but with normal ride.....

Bose/leather etc.

Deffo loose the stripes. Front splitter needs painting and the wheels need a refurb.

Sending someone over to listen to any funny noises.....

Good luck!

I think for the money you made the right decision. Safer bet than a 1.4 TSI and a lot newer than any GTI for that price.

yeah, its always hard buying at a distance though.

Got it for 6700 + Road tax.

Bit worried now, as having read the spec, and looked at the car, i'm now thinking they are rather different. No sat nav, for instance.....No parking sensors......

Too late now, flights are booked !

Well if it says it's got some and it hasn't then why are you still buying it?

Its still cheap without them IMO.....and i've booked the flights, May as well go take a look now. ( read, The wife likes it)

Im digging around, seems the VIN is listed with audi as an 'attraction standard 1.8Tfsi 160ps 6speed'

What in the name is attraction standard ?

Attraction is the European name for an SE model so that sounds normal to me.

I think at that price you're doing Ok as its within a few hundred of the trade value. Nav is easy to retrofit if you want it (it clearly doesn't have it). Difficult to tell with parking sensors from the picture though!

They sent me a nice little video, i doubt it has parking sensors. Again, retro fit is possible. And again, nice if its there, not OVERLY fussed if its not.

Parkers price guide will be circa 8k i'd think.
